Horizon Journal of Psychology is committed to open access with transparent and equitable publishing costs.
Current position
HJP does not levy an article processing charge (APC) at this time. There is no charge to submit or to publish, and no submission, page or colour charges apply. Open access is provided at no cost to authors or readers.
Future changes
Should the journal introduce a publication fee in future to sustain its operations, any charge will be announced clearly and in advance, will never influence editorial decisions, and will be accompanied by a transparent waiver and discount policy to ensure that ability to pay is never a barrier to publication.
Articles are published open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
